By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Platform.
1. Services
- DOUM TECHNOLOGIES & INNOVATIONS PRIVATE LIMITED connects customers with independent service providers (“Experts”) for various home services.
- We facilitate bookings, payments, and communication but do not provide services directly.
- Services may be modified or discontinued without notice.
- Services are currently available only within India.
2. User Accounts & Eligibility
2.1 Account Creation
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- You are responsible for protecting your login credentials.
2.2 Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes.
2.3 Account Suspension
- We may suspend accounts for violations of these Terms.
- You may request account deletion through customer support.
3. Bookings & Payments
3.1 Service Bookings
- Bookings can be made through our website or app.
- Availability depends on timing, location, and Expert availability.
3.2 Payments
- Payments must be made through supported methods (UPI, cards, wallets).
- Charges may apply for extra materials and add-ons.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Free cancellation available before service confirmation.
- Post-confirmation cancellations may incur charges.
- Refunds processed within 7–10 business days.
- DOUM TECHNOLOGIES & INNOVATIONS PRIVATE LIMITED may cancel bookings due to unforeseen situations.
5. Service Quality & Liability
- Experts are verified, but we cannot guarantee service quality or results.
- Service issues must be reported within 24 hours.
- We are not liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from services.
6. User Responsibilities
- Provide a safe environment for service execution.
- Treat Experts respectfully and professionally.
- Do not attempt direct arrangements with Experts.
- Misuse may result in account termination.
7. Privacy & Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we store and process your information.
- Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- User details are shared only as required for service operations.
- We implement security measures but cannot ensure absolute security.
8. Third-Party Links
Our Platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for external content or privacy practices.
9. Modifications to Terms
- We may update these Terms periodically.
- Continued use after updates means acceptance.
10. Dispute Resolution
10.1 Negotiation
Parties agree to attempt mutual resolution first.
10.2 Arbitration
Unresolved disputes will be referred to arbitration in Kolkata under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
10.3 Jurisdiction
Legal matters fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of Calcutta High Court.
